Greatly enjoyed this book Such an interesting and funny story of two little gunboats being transported overland from Cape Town to Lake Tanganyika in an attempt to destroy the local German 'navy' This epic journey started off by train then the ships had to be pulled by wood fired steam tractors across jungles and mountains before they could finally plunge into Lake Tanganyika and fight it out with the Germans I won't give away anything about the battles themselves all I want to say is absolute pageturner
